It's because kaneda is scared of togashi and he can't score everytime togashi is in his back
togashi literally Virgil van dijk in the back who wouldn't get scared 😂
Most highlight of the ep XD
Ashito know kaneda would run. Looks like he's useless now that togashi is guarding him
Y'know things are serious when an anime character who normally has their eyes shut opens them.
Like y'all know Kuroda ain't playing.
His eyes were more open than they were closed this episode.
Like I said, he ain't playing. XD
He came in and told Togashi and Takeshima what's up. That's my boy!
It had that little dot that looks like he got inspired when togashi said those logic words to kuroda
Or the fact that there is no outro.
I really thought kuroda is out of the field now even though he's injured
makes me remember that character from bleach who betrayed Aizen.
Ichimaru gin?
Kuroda giving off Gaku Shibasaki vibes
I hope Ashito scores at least one goal next episode.. otherwise, he's gonna sulk until next season.
nah i want him to bark instructions like a boss manipulating all players like chess pieces. Mastermind > glory hog scorer.
Yeah being able to break any formation with just one look is op for real
Yeah I want him to show them who's the mc here😤
Yeah, he didn't even get the assist this time. He did all the general's work and let the private get all the glory
Well he's the one guiding them and making their opponent confused so he can't score but he can score if he wants to if it's the best choice
I wonder if there'll be a next season
I honestly hope so but I get the feeling this season is just a big ad campaign for the manga
Please no, hopefully this isn't true, one part of me believes it, but the other part doesn't but both of them don't want it to be true
You should read the manga, it's simply awesome. In my opinion, Ao Ashi > Haikyuu simply because the stakes are way higher in Ao Ashi compared to Haikyuu. Both authors are geniuses who did a phenomenal job, but Yugo Kobayashi has a bigger scope in his world-building, and that's where it ultimately trumps Haikyuu (again, feel free to disagree, that's just my take on it after getting glued to the manga).
Same this show is so good i love every bit of it but hana has been so out of it lately and you know what that means. It means character development for her and for ashito
Ashito went into the Zone again , nice xD
There is a lot more than scoring. And I bet he will learn that.
He can score if he wants to but probably not in this match
I really liked the focus on the relationship between Togashi, Takeshima and Kuroda. It felt like Togashi was realizing he wasn't moving on as much as Takeshima and Kuroda who have definitely been pushing themselves to change and this realization was making him conflicted on how he should perceive them. Like he didn't know how to react when both of them suggested having a one-sided conversation in front of him if he really didn't want to talk them as they would compromise for him lol.
I liked how they're so open about their feelings, how they hate each other but really respect each other's skill and trust that they'll play well, hopefully they will get used to leaving their personal feelings off the pitch and focus on winning games by making the most of each other's skill. I really liked the moments where Togashi left the role of putting pressure on the opponents to Takeshima whilst he covers for him and Takeshima leaving Kaneda to Togashi. You can feel the two and Kuroda really maturing.
I am glad we got a bit of a look at Togashi's past interactions with his previous teams, it's sad that because of his looks he was feared and even his teachers/coaches weren't helping him out, allowing their players to continue seeing him in that way rather than finding a way to make them see him as a member of the team. So seeing Nozomi saying that he doesn't need to change must have meant a lot, the constant praises for Nozomi must have felt great, so I'm glad he wants to make sure he doesn't embarrass him as a sort of way of paying him back.
Lol it was so satisfying to see Kaneda getting shut down and riled up, he actually ran away from Togashi's defense and now even Ashito is able to take the ball away from him. The momentum is definitely changing this game and I am looking forward to see how Esperion continue to push on from here. Seeing Ashito conduct that goal at the end was so satisfying, I thought it'd be Asari that scores but him passing it back to Ohtomo who became completely free was so satisfyingly smooth. It is sad that next week is the last episode, I hope this'll get another season soon.
The teacher really said those words to togashi that he can't practice with them because they keep holding back and he should just show up in the games glad he didn't give up and believe in that old man
Kuroda was bleeding.
Communication, eye contact
Takeshima, togashi and kuroda are now friends and can communicate now
Time for a Saturday morning dosage of soccer!
Final episode's next week, and I think I have my final verdict ready to go! XD
No ending song yeah!
HAHHA IKR
It's not called soccer
I love this sooo much... Kaneda being scared of Togashi😂 and Ashito's eyes again. Stagnation!
But most importantly, after many episodes Aoi and Hana talk to each other again 😭 I'm their biggest shipper 🙋♂️
Hana is the number 1 fan of ashito of course they're still gonna talk
Relate bruh! I've been waiting for their interaction again ever since 😂😭
Man this anime is great. So many times I get drawn into the action. Found out I'm a real sucker for sports anime and this ranks up there with the best of them. This episode had it all too from tachibanas motivation to coach advise to trust yourself.
This is the one anime I'm hanging on the lock on. Can't wait for the next episode. Or the next. Or the next. Until it ends. Then I'll be happy. Then I'll be sad. Then I'll rewatch it and be happy again. But for now happy seeing a classic in the happening.
Watch One Outs; Giant Killing; Hinomaruzumou; Ballroom Youkoso; Baby Steps. Read mangas: Rookies / Mr Fullswing / Be Blues / King Golf / Robot x Laserbeam / Capeta / Moon Land /
This will be awaited by viewers like Fairy Tail and Overlord were after the first seasons.
A Lil Bit Ball talk
The delay or stagnation Fukuda was talking about is like the domino effect. If any one piece in the domino falls in a wrong way the whole chain reaction is wasted.
Earlier some of the moments Aoi was making had some delays in them that ultimately brings a delay to the whole team. The delays weren't becz of him only, it was a result of him making movements and his teammates (mainly the one who he doesn't really control) weren't in total sync.
Whereas In the goal today by Ohtomo there was no delay of any kind from any player.
The flow of a play, that's what Fukuda was talking about. A series of chemical reactions within the players that produced that prime Barca level golazoo.
Anyways from a manga readers pov this episode was soo mid. The sound during the Togashi segments just kills the vibes.
The match in the manga is absolutely godly I recommend reading from chapter 94 to 116
Ohtomo scored the goal yeah!!!!?
I love football so much and im glad that this anime shows how great of a sport football is .
oh, so if this match is between 94 and 116, that means the 300+ manga chapters is enough for a 2nd and a 3rd season? hmm.. looks promising!
"World-class full-backs, without exception, only go upfield when they're sure they aren't leaving a hole in the defense."
Someone tell this to Trent Alexander-Arnold please
LOL
LMAOOOOO
